Electric Coin Co released complete software development kits (SDKs) for Android and iOS. New versions are supported by the Zcash core network and offer support for Apple devices.
In addition, the company launched a server service specifically designed for mobile clients that allows you to effectively connect to the Zcash blockchain.
Early implementations of Zcash privacy technology required a minimum of 2.9 GB of free memory, which was not suitable for mobile devices. The Sapling update, introduced in October 2018, has significantly reduced memory requirements, making mobile wallets almost fully functional. Zcash mobile wallet was released in 2019, but was only compatible with the test network.
The company noted that all software is being actively developed, so the contribution of external teams is welcome.
