Actress Vanitha and Peter Paul got married yesterday Saturday 27th June 2020 at home in a Christian wedding. According to Christian customs, the groom kissed the bride and the happy pictures of the wedding went viral on the internet. When Vanitha is about to start a new life with Peter Paul, Peter’s first wife has suddenly lodged a complaint at the Vadapalani police station in Chennai.
Elizabeth Helen, in her complaint, said she married Vanitha without formally divorcing him after she married Peter Paul and had two children. The complaint states that the two have been separated for 7 years due to disagreement and have not yet divorced. She has stated in her petition that the couple have two children and have been separated for the past seven years.
Elizabeth Helen is reported to have filed a complaint that Peter Paul is yet to apply for divorce and told her that he would marry Vanitha, but that he had to act against her and married even before the divorce. This has caused quite a stir. Netizens are questioning why Elisabeth Helen waited till the marriage is over to lodge her complaint and not when the news was announced in the media a week back. Both Vanitha and Peter were not available for comments.
