Tyson Fury may be the best boxer in his family – but his brother Tommy rivals him on the fame scale.
The Fury family have long-standing traditions in the fight game and his lineage can be traced back to legendary bare-knuckle boxer Bartley Gorman, the self-proclaimed ‘King of the Gypsies’.
Tyson has carried on the tradition and in 2015 was crowned the heavyweight world champion when he outpointed long-reigning ruler Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
He will have the chance to become a two-time champion when he takes on Deontay Wilder in their rematch on February 22.
Tyson’s young brother Tommy is only just beginning his professional career having turned over at the age of 19 in 2018.
But after two straight-forward victories, he took time out of boxing to appear on ITV’s hit show Love Island .
Among a host of toned social media stars and wannabe celebrities, Fury had the highest profile.
And he quickly found himself at the centre of a love triangle as both Lucy and Molly-Mae battled to be coupled up.
Fury opted for the latter but soon found himself in demand again when Maura entered the house.
But eventually he settled with Molly-Mae and the couple finished second behind Amber and Greg – and they remain together today.
Having left the show, Tommy looked set to take a year-long break from the ring to make the most of his new found fame and fortune, but he was soon tempted back and knocked out Przemyslaw Binienda inside a minute last December.
Fury, now 20, will fight again on February 22 in London, hours before his brother takes on Wilder across the Atlantic.
The siblings sparred together at the end of last year with Tommy admitting he could barely lay a glove on the former world champion.
“It is always good. I can learn everything off him,” he said. “But there’s not that much point sparring him because I can’t land a shot!
“But the experience counts at the end of the day.”
Fury remains in the limelight due to his Love Island exploits but insists his focus will be inside the ropes.

“I have been very busy but life is good since coming out of Love Island,” he has said.
“You only live once so I am taking every opportunity I can. It’s back down to business.
“Nothing else is on my mind except fight night and I am ready to put on a show.
“I am going to show what I can do in the ring. Love Island was great but I am fighting man, not a reality man.”
