Taapsee Pannu’s latest released movie ‘Thappad’ has left everyone impressed with its impactful storyline. ‘Thappad’, the movie that revolves around a slap that leads to divorce has been grabbing headlines ever since the trailer of the movie was released. Not just the movie has an impressive storyline but the actors have nailed it with their performance in the movie.

While most of our Bollywood celebrities are all praises over the brilliant movie, the director of Baaghi 3 – Ahmed Khan is not very impressed with the concept of the movie. Well, as per a report by Mumbai Mirror, the Baaghi 3 director has found the concept of the movie very strange and he even has a question. He was quoted saying :

I don’t understand just because the husband slapped his wife, will she leave him forever? If she has a problem, she too should slap her husband twice in return.”

Not just this, the director also went ahead and gave a personal example by saying that if he ever slaps his wife, she has full liberty to slap him back. He said:

If I tell her that I don’t want to be with her anymore, then she can also tell me the same. But, will a slap decide whether a couple can stay together or not? But then, everyone has a different point of view and way of looking at it.”,

Taapsee Pannu has finally come out with a strong reply to Ahmed’s query. Talking about his statements, Taapsee said that she doesn’t feel the need to respond to such a statement. She said:

“He makes films based on what he finds correct and it is the same for us. At the end of the day, it is the audience who gives out the final verdict.”

Talking about the movie ‘Thappad’, it is directed by Anubhav Sinha. The story of the movie revolves around the journey of a woman named ‘Amrita’, a role played by Taapsee who fights for justice and files divorce after she is slapped by her husband at a party.
