Prior to joining the asset management division at GSAM, Sheila served in various positions in the equity division, including as co-director of distribution in Asia and head of U.S. derivatives trading. Sheila joined Morgan Stanley as Head of Strategy for Derivatives in June 1996. In 2003, Sheila joined Goldman Sachs as Managing Director and was appointed as a Partner in 2006. Sheila became Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management from September 2019 onwards (GSAM).
