Rivalry is an inevitable thing. And where there is rivalry, there is hatred or jealousy. If we talk about Bollywood, actresses are known to have cat-fights that last forever. These cat-fights are either due to personal relationships or rivalry in films. So, let’s know about such actresses who can’t stand each other.
1- Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma
Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma are the top actresses of this decade. But turns out, they both hate each other. And it’s not because of professional reasons. The reason behind this cold war is Ranveer Singh. Anushka and Ranveer worked together in Band Baja Baraat and fell in love with each other. However, after dating for some time, Ranveer dumped her for another girl. And this girl was Deepika Padukone.
We all know that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone met on the sets of Ramleela and fell in love with each other. Anushka blamed Deepika for being the reason for her breakup. And since then, there has been a cold war going on between them.
The good thing is that Deepika married Ranveer and Anushka married Virat Kohli and both the actresses are very much happy in their lives.
2- Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif
Well, Karma played its game well in time. As Ranveer Singh had dumped Anushka due to Deepika; Ranbir Kapoor did the same to Deepika for Katrina Kaif. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone very madly in love with each other. Their Jodi was most popular among fans, be it on-screen and off-screen. Deepika’s world turned upside down when she came to know that Ranbir was cheating on her with Katrina Kaif. Things are sour between both the actresses since then.
Ranbir and Katrina dated for a short time thereafter. Currently, he is dating Alia Bhatt and Katrina is happily single.
3- Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra
Their cold war being during an event in which they both wanted to be the showstopper. However, Katrina was chosen as showstopper and Priyanka came out and said that she herself stepped back due to her greatness. Katrina replied that she was selected on her merit and not because of PeeCee’s greatness. Since then, they haven’t crossed each other’s paths.
4- Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu
Their catfight is known to everyone. They both worked together in the thriller film ‘Ajnabee’. During the shooting, they both had an ugly fight. Kareena even slapped Bipasha and called her a Black Cat.
Bipasha then decided never to work with Kareena again. Their fight continued even on chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Kareena said on the show that Bipasha’s then-boyfriend John Abraham had no acting skills and facial expressions. And when Bipasha appeared on the show, she insulted Kareena by saying that she has too many facial expressions.
5- Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor
During an interview, Sonam had once said that Aishwarya Rai is an ‘aunty from another generation’. This statement provoked Aishwarya and rivalry began between them. Though Sonam clarified her statement and also apologized, it had already irked Aishwarya who later refused to walk on Cannes red carpet with her that year.
6- Aishwarya Rai and Rani Mukerjee:
Aishwarya Rai is married to Abhishek Bachchan. But everybody knows that Abhishek was set to marry his ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ co-star Rani Mukerjee. Even Jaya Bachchan had publically called Rani her daughter-in-law. But Abhishek and Rani broke up and he went on to marry Aishwarya. Since then, Rani and Aish aren’t on good terms. Rani has never worked or crossed paths with Aishwarya or Abhishek since then.
