Paul Pogba issues injury update video amid Man Utd star’s continual problems

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has taken to his Instagram to post a video of him recovering from recent ankle surgery.

The France midfielder has been out of action since just before the new year, and has made just seven Premier League all season due to an ongoing issue with his ankle.

Pogba underwent surgery last month in a bid to overcome the recurring injury.

And he appears to be on the road to recovery, according to the video he posted on his Instagram page on Saturday.

The 26-year-old is seen doing exercises in the swimming pool and in the gym, stretching his ankle alongside a personal trainer, and doing other exercises which show him getting fit again.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said this week that the France international is not yet ready to return to training as he takes his side to Marbella for a warm weather training camp.

“Marcus (Rashford) and Paul are not ready yet to join in the training,” Solskjaer said.

Despite being linked with a move away from the club, it seems United fans are desperate to see him return as soon as possible, filling his replies with get well soon messages and wishing the World Cup winner a speedy recovery.

“Please don’t leave United,” one put.

While a second added: “Man United needs you.”

“Paul my guy, speedy recovery back to United,” a third wished the player.

A fourth demanded: “MAKE UNITED GREAT AGAIN.”

“Can’t wait to see you back in action,” a fifth kindly added.

While Pogba has been on the sidelines, fellow midfielder Scott McTominay has also been out of action, but Solskjaer says he will be on the plane to Marbella to take part in the warm weather training camp.

“Scotty has done better in his recovery than we thought, so we will take him with us,” Solskjaer told MUTV.

“Hopefully he can join in the training sessions.”
