He may not be wearing New England Patriots uniform any longer, but Tom Brady remains “the GOAT and forever part of our family.”
Patriots owner Robert Kraft offered those words in a full-page ad in Sunday’s Tampa Bay Times, offering his appreciation for the quarterback’s accomplishments and urging Buccaneers fans to “take care of him.”
Brady, 42, won six Super Bowls in his 20 years with the Patriots before becoming a free agent this offseason and signing a two-year, $50 million contract with the Bucs.
“When you arrived as a sixth-round pick — and the best selection this franchise has ever made — no one imagined all you’d accomplish or how much you’d soon mean to an entire region,” the ad reads, adding, “(W)e wish you and your beautiful family continued success.”
