Manchester City’s season from a Premier League perspective has little riding on it, but this is a huge game for United, who need a win to trim the gap to the top four down to three points following Chelsea’s win over Everton.
With the help of this graphic from bettingexpert, not very fiery at all – at least judging by yellow and red cards. It’s not even the most fierce in England. That honour belongs to the north London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Today marks Raheem Sterling’s 250th career Premier League game, and the City star will be hoping he can make his mark for his side at Old Trafford.

For United, Solskjaer has rung the changes from the side that eased past Derby in the FA Cup on Thursday evening.
The United boss makes seven changes, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire and David de Gea coming back into the side.
And it looks as though young Dan James will lead the line with Martial in a 3-5-2 formation.
The big news from the team line ups is that City star Kevin de Bruyne is not in today’s matchday squad.
That will give United a huge confidence boost as the Belgian star without doubt poses the most danger out of City’s array of attacking stars.
Pep Guardiola revealed earlier this week that the midfielder was struggling with a shoulder injury, although he had been confident that the player would be available today.
