Liverpool have been linked with a summer swoop for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe. Anfield owners Fenway Sports Group will turn their attention to the World Cup winner if Real Madrid convince Sadio Mane to move to the Bernabeu.

Zinedine Zidane is desperate to sign the Liverpool forward at the next opportunity.
Despite signing a new five-year contract in 2018, Real Madrid have already made an approach to Mane’s representatives.
According to The Sun, Liverpool want to keep the 28-year-old but already have a plan in place in case he does depart.
A fee worth around £150million could be secured for Mane and FSG would reportedly be willing to spend that plus an additional £100m on signing Mbappe as his replacement.

Jurgen Klopp claimed last year that Liverpool had “absolutely no chance” of signing Mbappe.
“Buying this calibre of player is difficult,” he said. “I don’t see any club at the moment who can buy Kylian Mbappe from PSG. I don’t see any club, that is how it is. And we are involved in the clubs that cannot do it. It is as easy as that.
“OK, from a sporting point of view, there are not a lot of reasons to not sign him. What a player he is. But it is about the money of course. No chance. Absolutely no chance. Sorry for killing that story.”
A move to Real Madrid has also been mooted for Mbappe, with former PSG ace Jerome Rothen claiming a deal was in place before the coronavirus pandemic gripped the globe.
“I know from sources that Mbappe almost signed for Real Madrid,” he told Radio Monte Carlo.

“With what is happening now, it is certain that Mbappe’s arrival at Real will be postponed.
“In no case will there be an extension of Mbappe’s contract with PSG.
“They will have an agreement between them in place because PSG agreed to let him go this summer. In my opinion, it’s just a question of time.”
If Liverpool are successful in replacing Mane with Mbappe then how would Klopp’s team line up?
Alisson would continue between the sticks in front of a four-man defence comprised of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.
Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum appears to be the first-choice midfield trio despite their being questions marks over the latter’s future.
Mbappe would line up on the left wing, with Mohamed Salah on the opposite flank and Roberto Firmino through the middle.
