Coronavirus is spreading rapidly in India. As a step of prevention, PM Narendra Modi asked Indian citizens to follow the ‘Janta Curfew’ on 22 March, Sunday.
His initiative is applauded not only by the Indian citizens but by foreigners too. Recently, former England cricketer Kevin Petersen shared a message, which has become viral. In his message Peterson asked Indians to be safe in their homes.
Tweeting in a desi style, Kevin wrote,
“Namaste India, we are all together in defeating the Coronavirus, we should support our government and stay in the house for a few days, it is time to be smart.”
To which PM Modi responded by saying,
“Explosive batsmen who have seen teams in crisis have something to say to us. With Covid 19 we will all fight together”.
He also mentioned the tweets by Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina in his message.
Kevin further thanks the PM and wrote,
“Thank you, Modi Ji, your leadership is also very explosive”.
Stay safe guys.
