British horse racing has been shut down until the end of April due to the coronavirus outbreak. But racing in Ireland has been given the go-ahead, with action at Thurles taking place behind closed doors.
Thurles is Ireland’s only family-owned track and today’s meeting features the Grade 3 Pierce Molony Memorial Novice Chase.
The race is named after the racecourse’s much-missed owner and manager.
Molony died in 2015 at the age 65 and left the running of the venue to his wife Riona and daughters Patricia, Helen, Annemarie and Kate.
Here, Express Sport has rounded up how you can watch the racing at Thurles this afternoon.

The broadcaster said in a statement: “Ed Chamberlin will present the show, which will be produced in the UK with the smallest possible team.
“As well as racing from Thurles, the team will look back at the recent Cheltenham Festival and the 2019-20 jumps season. There will be no Opening Show.
“ITV Racing would like to thank Horse Racing Ireland and Racecourse Media Group for making this possible.”
