Express Sport understands that Liverpool have made Fabian Ruiz their top transfer target this summer. But the Reds will face stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to bolster his midfield at the end of the season and has identified Ruiz as an ideal fit.
The 23-year-old has scored two goals and made two assists in 22 appearances before Serie A was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
How much does Fabian Ruiz earn?
According to Football Italia, the Napoli star takes home a salary of £1.39million (€1.5m) per year.
