TLC premiered the much awaited special show on the conjoined or inseparable twins, Carmen and Lupita Andrade on the 16th of July 2020. Carmen and Lupita Andrade were born in 2000 and hail from Mexico. The conjoined twins were predicted to live just for two days after their birth but scrapped through with an eventful 20 years to their age.
Carmen and Lupita have lived for twenty years as Omphalopagus twins. Carmen and Lupita attend normal school and attempt to lead a normal life amidst their physical challenges. In most cases of conjoined twins, the twins are separated with medical procedures while some die unfortunately. Carmen and Lupita are the lucky ones who managed to live their life and set an example to the rest of the world with their aspirations and dreams.

Carmen and Lupita were supposed to live for just a couple of days according to the doctors who handled their birth. In 2015, Carmen and Lupita were scheduled to undergo a life changing surgery as the duo were not advised to stay ‘inseparable’ for long owing to the medical complications.
Carmen and Lupita have their own medical ailments and they continue to share their digestive and reproductive organs. Lupita suffers with a deteriorated lung capacity due to her sclerosis and her parents are happy with the way they are right now.
