Dear White People is an American Comedy Drama Television Series based on the 2014 film of the same name and is also written and directed by the same person as the film, Justin Simien. The show first premiered on Netflix on 28th April, 2017 so far, the show has three seasons with thirty episodes and a running time of thirty minutes. The show is critically acclaimed with rave reviews and also a huge commercial success.

The show revolves around several black college students navigating the daily slights, and slippery politics of life at an Ivy League College that’s not as post-racial as it might think it is. All of the episodes from each season except the seasons’ finale episode deals with a specific character and the challenge faced by them.

The show was renewed for a fourth and final season on 2nd October 2019. However, with all the production being on hold due to the current scenario the filming of the fourth season has not begun yet. The group is likely to unite and take down the order of X. The repercussions of the article start showing with Coco being turned down for her fellowship despite being top of the class.
