‘Deadwind’ made a comeback with its Season 2 on the 1st of July 2020.Like Bordertown,  ‘Deadwind’ is a enthralling Finnish crime based drama. The show revolves around the life of a homicide detective who lost her husband and is back on the quest for cold blooded murderers. However, life to back to the edge for the detective after the murderer of Anna Bergdahl is on the loose. Every season of ‘Deadwind’ is scripted with nerve wrecking cases which are tied down beautifully to form a larger plot.

‘Deadwind’s success has caught Netflix’s eye and no wonder the Season 2 opened to brilliant reviews. ‘Deadwind’ Season 2 is expected to be the best of the seasons so far and the fans are excited to know anything could about the possibility and status of Deadwind Season 3.

Deadwind Season 3 Release Date

‘Deadwind’ Season 2 was aired on Netflix on the 1st of July 2020. However, the season was aired in YLE TV1 on the 5th of April 2020. The entire season consisted of eight episodes. It is interesting to note that Netflix or the original telecaster YLE TV1 has not committed on the official release date for Deadwind Season 3.

Deadwind Season 3 is scheduled to release on Netflix in August 2021. Deadwind Season 2 has opened to a good start which means that the possibility of extending the show into a season 3 gets stronger. However, the Covid-19 pandemic is likely to delay the proceedings for yet another gripping season of Bordertown.

Deadwind Season 3 Plot: What We Know So Far?

Sofia Karppi is on a quest to crack some brain wrecking cases in Deadwind Season 3. The previous season revolves around Sofia’s quest to find out who killed the two men in the tunnel and what was the motive behind it Sofia Karppi is under pressure from the Mayor of Helsinki and things are likely to get awry as the case is cracked by Sofia.

Deadwind Season 3 will build the suspense towards Sofia Karppi’s measures to crack the identity of the several other killers. Sofia Karppi’s commendable image and potential to crack dark and cold blooded cases will earn her some accolades and responsibilities at the same time. Will the detective succumb to his personal life and call it quits? This could mean Deadwind Season 3 will be the ultimate season else we could continue to see more action from the detective and the crimes surrounding him.
