Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, while praising the force on the occasion of the Foundation Day of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), said that his role is important in the security and progress of the nation. One of the Central Armed Police Forces of India, the CISF was established in 1969 and was given the security of important government and industrial buildings.
Modi, sharing his speech on the foundation day of CISF in 2019, tweeted, “On CISF Foundation Day, I congratulate his courageous personnel and his family.” His role in national security and progress is very important.
On Wednesday, on the occasion of the founding day of the Central Industrial Protection Force (CISF), Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the bravery and heroism of the force. However, the Prime Minister mentioned the bravery of not only the members of the force but also their families. He also said that CISF personnel have a valuable role to play in advancing national security and the country’s progress.

In a tweet on the day, Narendra Modi said, “On the founding day, congratulations to the brave CISF personnel and their families. Their role in advancing national security and progress is invaluable. In 2019, the Prime Minister attended a ceremony to mark the founding day of the CISF. He also attached the video of the speech of that day with the same tweet.
The Central Industrial Protection Force was established on March 10, 1989. The force was tasked with protecting important government buildings and industrial centers. At present, along with him, the soldiers of the army are performing many other responsibilities related to the security of the country. Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla was present as the chief guest at the 5th Reserve Battalion of CISF in Ghaziabad, Delhi.

This year marks the 52nd CISF Racing Day or the founding day of CISF. CISF officers and jawans are celebrating the day in various places across the country through parades and various other military exhibitions. On this day, medals will also be handed over in recognition of the meritorious members of the forces who have shown signs of bravery at different times.
