Bollywood actress Ananya Panday made headlines with her statements during her interview in ‘newcomers roundtable 2019’ with Rajeev Masand, where she stated that she is a struggler as she never quite had her father grace the couch on the talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ nor did he ever work with Dharma Productions.
Further, she stated that she felt happy when she got the opportunity to do the same. The actress equaled her struggles with the struggles of newcomers in the industry.
Amidst her rant, Siddhant Chaturvedi interrupted Ananya Panday and stole the show by saying:
“Everyone has their own struggle. The only difference is ‘jahan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahan inka struggle shuru hota hai (their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled).”
Following which the actress was trolled left, right and center on social media. From memes to jokes, Twitterati just couldn’t stop trolling the actress for her nonsensical statement.
Recently, in an interview, Chunky Panday was asked whether he really struggled a lot in a futile manner to be on the show. To which he answered:
“I like coffee a lot and would go on the show whenever Karan calls me.”
On being asked if he is upset with Karan for not inviting him to the show, Chunky said:
“I am not upset at all but rather happy because Karan Johar has cast my daughter in his film”
A few days earlier, Chunky Panday also opened up about his daughter’s link-up rumors with Karthik Aaryan. He was asked about Ananya Panday dating anyone, to which Chunky Panday put all the rumors to rest by saying that it would be abnormal if she isn’t dating anyone. He said:
“She’s 21, it would be abnormal if she didn’t have a boyfriend. I have been through this in my time, so I know how much of it is true. You’re ready for these things as an insider.”
Talking about her professional front, Ananya Panday will be next seen in her upcoming movie Khaali Peeli alongside Ishan Khatter. She will be also seen in an untitled movie with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, which will be helmed under the Dharma Productions and will be directed by Shakun Batra.
