Students are one of the main sufferers due to Coronavirus Lockdown as the examinations for 10th and 12th standard were postponed due to the adverse effects Covid 19 and to avoid spreading of Covid 19 among students. Now the HRD minster Ramesh Pokhriyal has made an announcement regarding the examination timetable for CBSE 10th and 12th standard.
Exams for classes 10th and 12th will be conducted from Wednesday 1st July 2020 to Wednesday 15th July 2020. Also the JEE mains to be conducted from 18th July 2020 to 23rd July 2020. NEET will be conducted from 26th July 2020. Government has further stated that they want to give students a ten day window before starting the exams and hence the exams were postponed from May and June 2020. They have assured that exams will be over by first half of July 2020.
Also CBSE will be conducting Class 12th Board exams in twelve subjects and evaluation of the completed exams will be started shortly as they are waiting for the order from Central Government. Students in North East region couldn’t take part in some of the Class 10 exams due to communal riots and those will be conducted along with these exams.
