Big Boss Kannada season 8, week 1, started with a grand opening. There was a nomination process for who should get evicted from the house as soon as this season started. Six were nominated according to the votes of the housemates. Senior artist Shankar Ashwath had the most votes.
Shankar Ashwath became safe because of the twist Big Boss gave him at the last minute. Eleven of the sixteen members targeted Shankar. Most of it was for one reason. Because of this, Shankar Ashwath became a little bored mentally and then verbally quit. So, who were the eleven who targeted Shankar? How is Shankar safe even if he gets the most votes?
Senior artist Shankar was nominated by KP Aravind, Chandrakala Mohan, Dhanushree, Divya Suresh, Divya Uruguda, Geeta Bhatt, Prashant Sambargi, Shubha Poonja, Vaishnavi Gowda, Raghu Gowda, Vishwanath.
Shankar is very senior compared to the contestants in the Bigg Boss house. Shankar can be difficult when he is doing the task. It can be not easy physically, so they wanted him to be evicted from Bigg Boss’ house.
Manju, Dhanushree, Nidhi Subbayya, and Nirmala Chenappa were nominated alongside Shankar Ashwath. However, Shankar Ashwath was made safe by captain Brogowda as Bigg Boss gave him the power to save one of the nominated contestants.
Shamanth Brogowda won the Bigg Boss captaincy this week by winning the task. The Bigg Boss Captain was authorized to make one of the nominees safe. Using this power, Samanth Brogowda saved Shankar from nomination.
Bigg Boss nominated Nirmala Chenappa for her poor performance on the first day’s task. Shubha Poonja, Nidhi Subbaiah, Dhanushree and Nirmala Satya played in a team.
