We are well aware of the fact that how much struggle is needed to shine in the galaxy of Bollywood. So there are many actors who now famous for their roles and admiring work in Bollywood, were appearing in smaller roles or background dancers.

We enlist B-town celebs that appeared in popular movies
before they made their big debut in Bollywood and become one of the bankable
stars.

SHAHID KAPOOR

Film: Dil To Pagal Hai (1997)

You must have a different origin story about Shahid debut in
the Bollywood or as his first appearance. He has been seen as a supporting
artist in Subhash Ghai’s Taal ‘Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaaye’. Well, before Taal he
has appeared in the film Dil To Pagal Hai as a supporting artist and background
dancer for the song ‘Le Gayi Le Gayi’.

KAREENA KAPOOR

Film: Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000)

Everybody is very clear that Kareena has made her debut with
the film Refugee opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Kareena was about to begin her
profession with Hritik Roshan in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. She even went for certain
scenes in the movie. One of those scenes was held in the film that was released
almost a half year before the release of Refugee.

ALIA BHATT

Film: Sangharsh (1999) and Ugly (2013)

Alia Bhatt who is now A-list celebrity in Bollywood has
first appeared as a child artist in the movie Sangharsh where she played the
younger version of Preity Zinta. Later on, before making a grand Bollywood
debut with Karan Johar Directorial venture ‘Student of the year’ she played the
role of young Shalini Bose in the Anurag Kashyap movie Ugly.

Anushka Sharma

Film: Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006)

Before Anushka made her grand Bollywood debut opposite Shah
Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana DI Jodi, Anushka has been in the publication of 2006
Rajkumar Hirani’s directed Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Anushka showed up as a model
in one of the promotions pictures on the wall that lined the corridor as Sanjay
Dutt’s character raged out of the radio broadcast.

ZAHEER IQBAL

Film: Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (2010)

Before playing the lead character in the Salman Khan’s
creation Notebook. Zaheer Iqbal has appeared in the Jacqueline Fernandez’s
debut, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai.

Daisy Shah

Film: Tere Naam (2003)

Daisy Shah made her grand debut opposite Salman Khan in the movie
Jai Ho, and become a famous name in Bollywood with her sizzling performance in
Hate Story 4. However, she first appeared in a song sequence of movie Tere
Naam. She was there in the song ‘Lagan Lagi’ close to Salman Khan as a background
dancer.

REMO D’SOUZA

Film: Pardes (1997) and Aflatoon (1997)

The famous choreographer and director Remo D’Souza has been
a part of many movies during his struggle days. Back in the 90s’, he has done
many movies as background supporting artists. For instance, he was sharing the screen
with Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan in movies Pardes and Aflatoon
respectively.

SS RAJAMOULI

Film: Bahubali: The Beginning (2015)

SS Rajamouli is famous for his visionary mindset as movie
director and producer. He also appeared in one of his own movies. The bartender
guy in Bahubali the beginning song Manohari is none other than SS Rajamouli
himself.

ANURAG BASU

Film: Jagga Jasoos (2017)

Despite being a die-hard movie fan, you would have no idea
that Anurag Basu has appeared in one of his movies. Here the big information,
Anurag Basu appeared in the song sequence of ‘Galti se Mistake’ in the Ranbir
Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starring movie Jagga Jasoos. He was dressed as Santa
Claus who shirt got ripped off playfully by Ranbir Kapoor in the song.

AYAN MUKERJI

Film: Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006)

Before making a name in the Bollywood with Wake Up Sid, and
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ayan was an associate director for Kabhi Alvida Naa
Kehna, and can be seen in a sequence where Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukharji was
dancing ‘Tumhi Dekho Naa’.

NAWAAZJUDDIN SIDDIQUI

Film: Sarfarosh (1999) and Munna Bhai MBBS (2003)

Before establishing himself as one of the talented actors in
Bollywood, he has appeared in many films as supporting roles with minimum
screen time. He appeared in Sarfarosh as a small goon got beaten by Police.
Later on, he was in Munna Bhai MBBS for a scene where he stole a wallet at the
railway station.
