Ludo is a dark anthology that has been directed by Anurag Basu. Knowing Basu’s direction, the film is usually not completed soon but this time around despite having an ensemble cast the shooting of Ludo was completed in a year. With the ongoing pandemic it is not conducive to have a theatrical release. This has caused a huge strain to the film industry. Many makers have taken their films to OTT platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Disney + Hotstar and Netflix.
T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar struck a deal with Netflix for the digital release of Ludo. Ludo which is a multi-starrer was meant to be released on April 24th 2020 but due to the deadly pandemic the release was delayed.

Ludo Movie Release Date
Ludo is all set to be released on Netflix directly rather than its earlier theatrical release. The film’s release date has not been announced as yet. But it has been confirmed that T-Series has signed a deal with the streaming giant, Netflix.

Ludo revolves around the lives of many urban character. Since the narrative can draw parallels to Basu’s earlier film Life In A Metro, the cast had to be that of an ensemble. The cast of Ludo includes:

Ludo Movie Plot
Ludo is similar to Basu’s 2007 film, Life In A… Metro. Ludo too encompasses innumerable characters and traverses their life. It is about unavoidable circumstances in the lives of urban citizens. The film will see the characters fates intersect at the climax after which they will choose a common path to solve their dire circumstances.
Understanding from the title, it will all be a game. A game to win by getting all your loved ones to survive right uptil the end and get rid of the ones who you do not call your own.
