Yesterday it was reported that two employees of Malabar Jewellery Coimbatore has tested positive for Coronavirus but today it has been found that fifteen employees have tested for Covid 19. Efforts are taking on contact tracing all those who have come across these employees and who have come to the store in the past two weeks. This is one of the biggest spread in a single shop in coimbatore and people are requested not to travel out unless absolutely necessary.
After two employees tested positive for COVID-19 at Malabar Gold and Diamonds Jewellery store in 100 feet road, the store has been thoroughly sanitized by District officials. The shop has been asked to down its shutters and the work of transferring all the jewels in the shop to a safe place is underway.
