The Shehenshah of Bollywood has paid Rs 70 crore as tax for the financial year 2018-19. He has emerged as the highest tax-payer of the year from the film fraternity. Bachchan has left behind Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan in the race to pay the highest tax.
Salman Khan

Bollywood’s very own bhai may not be churning out blockbusters anymore, but still continues to woo us all with his charm and wit. He is one of the highest tax payers in Bollywood. Salman paid around 44 crores as tax, according to the data.
Akshay Kumar

The man has aged like good wine; the older the better. No surprises that he is now finally being appreciated for his talent. In 2016-17, he reportedly paid Rs.29 crore as taxes to the government.
